The Horror Honeys: Honey Buzz: 'XX' Horror Anthology FINALLY Gets a Trailer!

Honey Buzz: 'XX' Horror Anthology FINALLY Gets a Trailer!

A little over a month after announcing its screening at the 2017 Sundance Festival, the female-directed, female-written horror film anthology XX has given us a trailer.

As our Zombie Honey Bella so aptly put it: “I’ve been talking about this fucking thing for two years.” As have we all. After being announced in 2013, we have been waiting… and waiting… and waiting. We’ve been teased with potential director names. A few weeks ago, a photo was released after the Sundance announcement.

And now, here it is, a trailer and a release date, and we are fucking stoked.

The anthology features four films, all with female leads:

The Birthday Party, directed by Annie Clark (AKA St. Vincent)
Her Only Living Son, directed by Karyn Kusama (The Invitation
Don’t Fall, directed by Roxanne Benjamin (Southbound
The Box, directed by Jovanka Vucovic (The Captured Bird

XX looks to promise a lot of creepy shit, including an off-putting costume party, face-changing dolls, possessed children… and that’s all just from the trailer.

Who’s ready for this project to be released? WE ARE.

You can see XX starting on February 17th in theaters and on demand!

Until then, check out the trailer:
