The film has a cast full of big names supporting it, including Liam Neeson as the voice of the monster.
From the press release:
12-year-old Conor (Lewis MacDougall), dealing with his mother’s (Felicity Jones) illness, a less-than-sympathetic grandmother (Sigourney Weaver), and bullying classmates, finds a most unlikely ally when a Monster appears at his bedroom window.
I think we all wish we had a monster to help us deal with our troubles.
Aside from the gorgeous visual effects of the monster, I can already tell that this film is going to be a huge tearjerker. My tissues are ready.
A Monster Calls is set to open nationwide on October 21, 2016.
