This year, The Horror Honeys decided to take a pledge, rather that make a resolution there was zero chance of us keeping. Women in Film has launched the 52 Films by Women project, in which you take a pledge to watch just ONE film directed by a woman every week this year. Easy enough right? And since this is The Horror Honeys, we are going to guide through the project, every week this year, with a featured horror film written or directed by a fierce female!
Take the pledge yourself here, and check out our next pick below!
This isn't the first time we've featured director Rachel Talalay (Tank Girl), and it won't be the last. But this week's pick is particularly special to your Revenge Honey, as she has a soft spot for awful horror films based in terrible 90s technology. Ghost in the Machine isn't a great movie. Hell, it's barely a good one. But it has a great cast (Karen Allen, Chris Mulkey, Jessica Walter, and Brandon Quintin Adams), and the CGI is Lawnmower Man-level incredibad. So if you haven't seen this ridiculous horror-sci-fi classic, now is your chance!
Ghost in the Machine is available via iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Vudu, Google Play, & DVD
