The Horror Honeys: Slasher Honey Jam ~ 'All My Life'

Slasher Honey Jam ~ 'All My Life'

Calm down don't you resist
You've such a delicate wrist
And if I give it a twist
Something to hold when I lose my grip
Will I find something in there
To give me just what I need
Another reason to bleed
One by one hidden up my sleeve
All night long I dream of the day
When it comes around and it's taken away
Leaves me with the feeling that I feel the most
Feel it come to life when I see your ghost
Then I'm done done on to the next one

James Mangold's Identity is one of those rare slasher movies that, even once you know the twist, is still totally watchable. The "And Then There Were None..." update set at a motel with a side story that ends up being more relevant than it might initially seem, is well-acted and more-than-satisfyingly gory. But what I remembered most about it after the first time, other than the twist, was the music. The movie used Bob Dylan's "I Want You" in a way that forever connects it to the film for me, and the same is true of today's Honey Jam, "All My Life" by the Foo Fighters. It's a killer song... for  a killer movie! ~RH
