The Horror Honeys: Horror TV Honey Jam ~ 'Wonderful! Wonderful!'

Horror TV Honey Jam ~ 'Wonderful! Wonderful!'

Sometimes we stand, on the top of a hill
And we gaze at the earth and the sky
I turn to you, and you melt in my arms
There we are, Darling, only you and I
What a moment to share, it's wonderful, wonderful
Oh, so wonderful, my love
The world is full of wondrous things, it's true
But they wouldn't have much meaning without you

Even the most casual of X-Files fans will likely recognize this week's Honey Jam, featured prominently in one of the most terrifying of all X-Files ever, "Home." The Peacock family, consisting of a trio of inbred, genetically mutated brothers, only seem to like one song, and that song is the highly saccharine classic from crooner Johnny Mathis, "Wonderful, Wonderful." While not the kind of music you'd expect from these type of dudes, they are from Pennsylvania. Maybe inbred mutants north of the Mason-Dixon Line aren't into banjo music. ~RH
