The Horror Honeys: Vampire Revenge Wednesday Jam ~ 'Naughty, Naughty'

Vampire Revenge Wednesday Jam ~ 'Naughty, Naughty'

Don't tell me "I don't wanna be a girl like that"
Do you wanna see a grown man cry
You don't wanna be a girl like that
Baby this could be the first time (this could be the first time)
Naughty naughty, cute and horny, t-t-t-t-tease me
Take it easy, hug and squeeze me, love outta line
With your hair hung down, and your dress ridin' high
And your eyes burning hot like the sun
Kiss me hard, squeeze me tight, gonna love you alright
Cause I'm a naughty, naughty, naughty guy

Personally, my favorite song from the Near Dark soundtrack is The Cramps cover of Peggy Lee's "Fever," but 1) searching The Cramps Fever on google doesn't end up anywhere positive, and 2) apparently the licensing company had all copies of the song pulled from the internet, so fuck those wangs. Instead, we can enjoy this lesser 80s oddity, John Parr's ("St. Elmo's Fire) "Naughty, Naughty," a song that is only creepy in that this guy seems pretty intent on convincing a virgin to bone him. But, you know, no one cared about that kind of stuff in the 80s. All that mattered was, "will people buy the cassette?" And damnit all, they did. ~RH
