The Horror Honeys: Saturday Morning Horror Cartoon ~ 'Stalker from the Cornfield'

Saturday Morning Horror Cartoon ~ 'Stalker from the Cornfield'

*CAUTION* Are you afraid of dolls? Specifically terrifying pregnant dolls carrying scythes? Then you have our permission to skip this week's horror cartoon. See you next week!

For the rest of you, get a fresh pair of shorts at the ready, because Benjamin Oke's Stalker from the Cornfield will scare the crap out of you.

Combining some of the scariest horror film elements in history, including dolls, cornfields, and stalkers, Stalker from the Cornfield is the kind of stop motion animation that reminds you how utterly unsettling the medium can be. More marionette than doll, the main characters of this short look like they've been through the great doll war, and are worse for wear. But the gritty nature of the dolls, combined with the excellent editing and camera work, make Stalker from the Cornfield a short horror film you won't get out of your head any time soon.

On that note... Enjoy your cartoon and as always,

Happy Saturday, Spooky Kids!
