The Horror Honeys: Honey Buzz ~ "Channel Zero" Horror Anthology

Honey Buzz ~ "Channel Zero" Horror Anthology

Maybe I'm too old to really *get* the whole creepypasta "thing," but networks like SyFy are seeing a market and running the fuck away with it before anyone else can get their grubby mitts on it.

Channel Zero will be an anthology horror show, and the first season will be all internet inspired and based on Candle Cove by Kris Straub,  which tells the story of a mysterious children’s television show from the 1970s and the show’s role in a series of murders and one man’s dark secret.  Produced by Nick Antosca (Hannibal) and Max Landis (Chronicle), studio hopes seem to be very high that this series will be a creepy hit with the creepy kids.

We love the idea of doing seasons of TV like rich, character-driven horror novels, and for Channel Zero: Candle Cove we’ve expanded this great short story Candle Cove into something really nightmarish and haunting and surreal

You can read the full story here, or you can listen to the audio version here - try not to cringe when one of them pronounces especially as "eXspecially."

Is it creepy?
Yeah... but I wasted a LOT of time trying to picture what the things they were describing looked like and it ended up looking REALLY stupid in my head. So you have that to look forward to. I plan on checking it out when it does finally land on SyFy - no release date has been announced as of yet.

The SkinTaker - looks WAY better than I imagined it.
