The Horror Honeys: Extinction: Oh, hello, freezing dead girl

Extinction: Oh, hello, freezing dead girl

Zombie Honey Buzz by Bella

I’ve often wondered what would happen if we had multiple apocalyptic scenarios occur at the same time. Dealing with Zombies during a massive decades long heat wave would be horrible. And unbearably stinky.
Matthew Fox looks so peaceful choking that frozen dude out.

At the very least with Extinction, the cold should keep the smell at bay?

Despite my snark, I’m incredibly excited about Extinction - and not just because of my ridiculous appreciation for Matthew Fox (although, come on!). I like the idea of playing with how environment will affect the undead. Mother nature can be bitch, I imagine she’s not picky about who she torments; to her, the living and the dead are just in her way.

The synopsis: “For nine years, Patrick (Matthew Fox), Jack (Jeffrey Donovan) and his daughter Lu (Quinn McColgan) have outlasted the zombie apocalypse by shutting themselves off in the snowbound town of Harmony. The monsters have seemingly disappeared, with no sign of other survivors, but the constant fear of the unknown is starting to take a toll on this makeshift family. When Patrick goes scavenging for food, he discovers the undead have returned and evolved into something terrifying, beyond imagination. Will the last breath of the human race survive a second zombie apocalypse?”

The only thing I’m more-or-less bummed about is the change in title. Welcome to Harmony has an air of creepiness to it that I greatly appreciate. Couple that with a forever winter and the undead = SCORE! But hey, I don’t control these things. I will, however, be watching this and reporting back.
