The Horror Honeys: Honey Buzz ~ Rob Zombie's "31" ALL the Casting

Honey Buzz ~ Rob Zombie's "31" ALL the Casting

Back in October, Rob Zombie started a crowdfunding campaign to get his newest project off the ground. What was this project? A little film about murderous clowns who kill for no reason.

That sounds fucking KICKASS right?

*sigh*

We're early on in this new cycle of "See this thing that's not scary? It's SCARY now! You'll be scared after we bury you under a mountain of films about it!" and I'm already annoyed by clowns. (Case and point - check out my review of Eli Roth produced, Clown HERE
Zombie says he was inspired to make a film set during Halloween after he heard that, statistically, more people go missing and are never found on this day than any other.
"I thought that’s a good premise for a film," said Zombie. "Add in the fact that everyone I know seems to really hate clowns and now you got a film."

The story: "31" follows five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a compound known as Murder World. They'll try to survive a terrifying game called "31" in which murderous maniacs dressed as clowns are released to hunt them down and kill them.

The film was supposed to begin production in February this year (2015) and now that it's March, an avalanche of casting news has begun to flood the "news sources." Instead of posting every three days like a douchebag, I thought I'd just smash all of the casting news thus far into one post. It's for my own sanity really.

Rob Zombie is calling 31 his "most brutal film to date."
Are you down with this clown? 31 is officially on the way.
