The Horror Honeys: Honey Buzz ~ Casting News for Ana Lily Amirpour's 'The Bad Batch'

Honey Buzz ~ Casting News for Ana Lily Amirpour's 'The Bad Batch'

Director Ana Lily Amirpour
The Honeys have been following news on A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night director Ana Lily Amirpour's new film, The Bad Batch, for the last few days. And while we are obviously interested in the story and new applications for Amirpour's style, let's just say casting for her cannibalism-themed film is offering us some low-hanging fruit in terms of innuendo. So join us as we attempt to present you Honey Buzz on The Bad Batch that is childish-humor free...

Sigh. This is going to be painful.

Will. Not. Make. Cannibalism. Joke.
According to The Wrap, Jim Carrey, Suki Waterhouse, Diego Luna, and Keanu Reeves have all officially signed on to join Jason Momoa in The Bad Batch. Described as a "cannibal love story," The Bad Batch is set in the Texas wastelands and focuses on a cannibal known as Miami Man (Momoa) and his relationship with his food. While little is known about the supporting characters, Reeves plays The Dream (no arguments here), while Carrey plays The Hermit, so there is a good chance The Bad Batch will be at least a little bit on the quirky side.

Stuff your judgment, haters. He's a handsome man.
Annapurna Pictures and VICE have already partnered on Amirpour's film, and plan to take the movie to The Cannes Film Festival to find distribution. Which means we have a bit of a wait before we finally see The Bad Batch as a finished product.

What do you think, kids? Are you looking forward to finally getting all of the Jason Momoa/cannibalism jokes off your back... I mean The Bad Batch? ~ The Revenge Honey
