The Horror Honeys: Honey Rage Buzz ~ WTF FOX & 'Scream Queens?'

Honey Rage Buzz ~ WTF FOX & 'Scream Queens?'

Ooooh, but where to begin. It's 1:54am. Your Revenge Honey was, for some reason, hate watching All Good Things (which stars two people I don't like), and innocently hopped on to Twitter for a bored scroll. When what to my wondering eyes should appear but a promoted tweet, i.e. paid for, from Ryan Murphy's new show Scream Queens, taking up an inordinate amount of space on my timeline. And what tweet drove me to write this rage buzz so late in the evening, you may ask?

This one:

For those of you who don't know, and I only just found this out, "duff" means "designated ugly fat friend." So, not only is whatever dumbass who is in control of Scream Queen's social media page fat-shaming teenage girls, but they are doing so without bothering to check for grammatical errors.

Now, I am no Ryan Murphy fan. But I WILL point out that there is ZERO chance he had anything to do with this tweet. However, what this tweet does is set a precedent for the tone of the show. This makes me believe that Murphy and Brad Falchuck, champion of the outcast and the underdog to the point where you want to shake them and scream, "WE GET IT! CALM THE HELL DOWN!," actually don't give two shits about any woman that isn't Jessica Lange.

So even IF Murphy had nothing to do with this tweet, get your shit together Fox. And Murphy, get your people under control. Because while I had no intention of watching your shiny new invention, "the horror comedy," (GAWD I hate you), a few more mistakes like this and you will destroy what little good will you have in the horror community at this point.

That's strike two, friend. And you don't want to see what happens when we get to strike three. ~ Revenge Honey

But with stabbing.
