The Horror Honeys: Honey Buzz ~ VALLEY OF THE SASQUATCH - poster reveal

Honey Buzz ~ VALLEY OF THE SASQUATCH - poster reveal

Growing up in he Pacific Northwest, you have one of two opinions about Sasquatch related news. Personally, I'm of the OMG STOP variety. I grew up with stories about my father's Sasquatch experiences (and yes, he has a few) collected over his years working as a surveyor in the interior of British Columbia.

I grew up with this stuff. So, color me surprised that there has been a resurgence of renewed interest in Bigfoot/Sasquatch related films as of late with GoPro filmed Exists, and the highly annoying Willow Creek leading the pack.

Past Honey Radio guest (Episode 12), John Portanova from production company The October People has been excited about his new film Valley of the Sasquatch for a really really long time, so I'm stoked to see the poster make an appearance.

The story:Following a devastating personal loss, as well as the loss of their family home, a father and son are forced to move to an old family cabin. Neither reacts well to being thrown into this new world. The son’s attempts to relate to his father are complicated further when two old friends arrive for a weekend of hunting. This trip into the forest will unearth not only buried feelings of guilt and betrayal, but also a tribe of Sasquatch that are determined to protect their land.

Valley of the Sasquatch stars David Saucedo (Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones), cult and indie film favorite Bill Oberst Jr. (see Tonjia Atomic's 6/6/6 interview with Bill HERE), Jason Vail (Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies), D’Angelo Midili (The Invoking - Head Honey's review HERE), and Miles Joris-Peyrafitte (Gut).

The last feature produced by The October People was sci-fi indie, The Device, released in 2014 (Sci-Fi Honey's review is HERE).
