The Horror Honeys: Honey Buzz ~ More Casting for Ryan Murphy's SCREAM QUEENS

Honey Buzz ~ More Casting for Ryan Murphy's SCREAM QUEENS

A few weeks ago, we buzzed kind of snarkily (no surprise there) about the upcoming Ryan Murphy anthology show (he's kind of obsessed with these, isn't he?) Scream Queens had begun its casting with Murphy "it girl" Emma Roberts and an ACTUAL Scream Queen, Jamie Lee Curtis nabbing starring roles.

Aside from the fact that Murphy seems to think he's the first person in the history of ever to make "horror comedies" horror fan hopes are high that Queen Curtis will be able to pull the show out of a "that sounds original... NOT" tragedy.

More casting was announced this past week, and once again, Ryan Murphy proves that he's about as original with his casting as he is with his show ideas.

Breslin. Yay, cookie cutter blondes!
Glee star Lea Michele will join the leading ladies, along with True Blood's Joe Mangianello, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer (Akeelah and the Bee) and Ariana Grande (Sam & Cat, Victorious).

The 15-episode hourlong comedy will premiere in fall 2015, with season one set on a college campus that's rocked by a series of murders. New settings and storylines will be featured in subsequent seasons of the anthology series.
Michele, Manganiello, and Breslin will be series regulars, while Grande will guest star in a recurring role. Plot details are being kept under wraps, however A casting breakdown indicates the series will center on three young women, Curtis' role and a father..

Hello, Joe. You can stay.

Keke Palmer. Girl, you'd better not die first.

So...basically it's Scream Goes to College. Hooray. Scream Queens begins production in the Spring, and I'll pretend to care after that point.
