The Horror Honeys: Friday Favorites ~ Our Favorite Werewolf Movies!

Friday Favorites ~ Our Favorite Werewolf Movies!

Werewolves have been a part of horror folklore for decades, but it was Lon Chaney Jr. who brought them into the horror mainstream with his iconic character in Universal's The Wolf Man (1941). Since then, howling at the moon has been a mainstay of horror, from the biggest of budgets to the smallest of indies. Unlike some other genres, the werewolf species always manages to stay fresh and original. In 2014, indie horror Late Phases brought us a blind Vietnam vet fighting off elderly Catholic werewolves. What other genre could bring you something so... awesomely specific?

This week, the Honeys share their furry favorites, old and new! Do you share a favorite with one of the Honeys? Let us know on Twitter, using #werewolfmovies!
