The Horror Honeys: Honey Buzz ~ CHAPPIE comes to life

Honey Buzz ~ CHAPPIE comes to life

If you're a fan of Die Antwoord, you'll have known for a while that their involvement in Neill Blomkamp's newest film but South African filmmaker was by turns amazing (according to them) and kind of terrifying (according to everyone else).

However, any issues aside, Chappie is due for a March 6th 2015 release, and the teaser trailer will drop tomorrow. For now, we have a poster and a peek at the commercial/short film/proof of concept that Chappie was based on.

After being kidnapped by two criminals during birth, Chappie becomes the adopted son in a strange and dysfunctional family. Chappie is preternaturally gifted, one of a kind, a prodigy. He also happens to be a robot.

Chappie opens on March 6, 2015 and features Blomkamp favorite, Sharlto Copley as the voice of Chappie, and also has roles for Hugh Jackman, Dev Patel, Sigourney Weaver, and The Walking Dead's Jose Pablo Cantillo.
