The Horror Honeys: Honey Buzz ~ Blumhouse Release Date Updates

Honey Buzz ~ Blumhouse Release Date Updates

I snarky posted about Blumhouse and New Line's newest round of release date shuffling for a few of its horror properties a little while ago...and it seems like I don't have to stop, which is amazing.

Insidious Chapter 3, which seems to be all about a malicious entity with asthma, has been moved back one week to June 5, 2015

For those of you interested, the premise for Insidious Chapter 3 is as follows:
A prequel set before the haunting of the Lambert family that reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.

There's also news for Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist (yes, that's the title), which now has a definitive (?) release date on June 10, 2016. While there is no plotline revealed for the sequel, I'm going to guess, because I'm getting really good at it. Considering Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson (ugh) are returning and reprising their role as the Warrens, Conjuring 2 should be another predictable dive into the case files of the Warrens, and will likely have some elements of Paranormal Activity, because teenagers. As a quick google search revealed: The Enfield Poltergeist was the name given to claims of poltergeist activity at a council house in Brimsdown village, borough of Enfield, England during the late 1970s. The Warren's investigated the case, and Ed Warren claimed that Janet (the reporter of the activity) was once “sound asleep, levitating in midair” and concluded that the children were the subject of demonic possession. We know from The Conjuring that Ed Warren loves performing his own exorcisms, so hooray, we'll be in for another one of those thrilling climaxes.

Will I be correct? Only time (a lot of time in this case) will tell!
