The Horror Honeys: Honey Buzz ~ Rob Zombie's '31' is a GO

Honey Buzz ~ Rob Zombie's '31' is a GO

Trying my hardest to report this without an avalanche of eyeroll gifs... Rob Zombie announced today that plans to move ahead with his newest venture, the crowdfunded '31' and he's revealed some more insight into the film's inspiration and plotline, and also that 31 is the beginning of a new trilogy.

Zombie says he was inspired to make a film set during Halloween after he heard that, statistically, more people go missing and are never found on this day than any other.
"I thought that’s a good premise for a film," said Zombie. "Add in the fact that everyone I know seems to really hate clowns and now you got a film."
The project follows five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a compound known as Murder World. They'll try to survive a terrifying game called "31" in which murderous maniacs dressed as clowns are released to hunt them down and kill them.

Production begins February 2015

"Without the fans raising funds and helping to build buzz, a crazy film like this would have been almost impossible to get off the ground. I owe the fans big time on this one," added Zombie

That's a whole lot of nope right there.
