Honey Buzz ~ MORE Twin Peaks in 2015??

Earlier this month, it was officially announced that David Lynch and Mark Frost would begin writing the next chapter in the Twin Peaks saga for a Showtime series to begin in 2016. The Horror Honeys still haven't come down from the initial high...

But now, according to Deadline, there is even MORE Twin Peaks news, and at this rate, our little black hearts might not be able to take it.

The new episodes of Twin Peaks will pick up 25 years in the future, so there will have been a narrative gap regarding the lives of our favorite kooky pie-eating, murder-solving, Pacific-Northwestern living scamps. But thanks to Frost, we won't be diving into the 2016 premiere blind! Launching in 2015, Frost is currently writing The Secret Lives of Twin Peaks, a novel that will fill fans in on the last 25 years in the small, twisted town.

This isn't the first time Twin Peaks has delved into the world of the literary. In 1990, Jennifer Lynch wrote The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer, in which viewers were given insight into the private world of the prom queen/murder victim who drove the initial story. Additionally, in 1991, Scott Frost wrote The Autobiography of FBI Agent Dale Cooper: My Life, My Tapes. The book was a transcript of Cooper's private journal tapes, which recounting the story of his life up to the moment he left for Twin Peaks. Super-fans could also purchase an audio book of Cooper's dictated tapes entitled Diane: The Twin Peaks Tapes of Agent Cooper, which were read by Kyle McLachlan himself. So there has been no shortage filler for those who felt empty when the show was cancelled after only two seasons (cough cough me cough cough).

The Secret Lives of Twin Peaks will not only fill us in on Agent Dale Cooper, Audrey Horn, and more, but it will also give us MORE information on the Laura Palmer case, which will be central to the new series. So I don't know about you, but I will be lining up for Frost's book in 2015!
