Honey Buzz ~ Director William Friedkin Tours the Criterion Closet...

One of your Revenge Honey's biggest, squishiest dreams is to have 30 minutes alone in the Criterion Closet with a shopping cart and no restrictions on what I can take. Criterion is the premiere distributor and remastering company when it comes to international, experimental, and oft times, seemingly lost films. Their blu-rays of Fritz Lang's M, David Lynch's Eraserhead, Truffaut's The 400 Blows are just a few gold standards in film restoration. So getting to watch a filmmaker take a spin through the Criterion Film Closet inevitably chokes me up. Thus, watching The Exorcist director William Friedkin walk the Criterion Closet?

All the feels.

Friedkin looks like a kid in a candy store as he browses the multiple shelves, housing each and every Criterion release so far. From the The Devil & Daniel Webster, to Brute Force, to his personal favorite (and one of mine), Fellini's 8 1/2, Criterion offers a treasure trove of classics for those in love with international drama, horror, and thrillers.

Watch Friedkin's trip through film history below! And take this tip from the Revenge Honey: twice a year, Barnes & Noble does a 50% off all Criterion films sale. I'll keep an eye out for the next one and let you know!
