The Horror Honeys: Honey Buzz: New Supernatural Drama at Fox...

Honey Buzz: New Supernatural Drama at Fox...

... that will probably be cancelled before anyone has a chance to see it. Fox likes to brag they are the network that brought you The X-Files, but they like to gloss over the fact they are also the network that cancelled some of the best television shows ever to grace the small screen. Let's quickly go over just a few of those shows:

1. Wonderfalls

2. The Tick

3. Arrested Development

4. Futurama

5. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

6. Brimstone

and of course...

7. Motherfucking Firefly

So forgive me if I don't have high hopes that this latest pilot acquisition will last terribly long on a network that isn't willing to give shows the time they need to grow and acquire audiences. But I digress. According to Deadline, Fox has bought the untitled pilot for a supernatural drama from the producers of 24. The description of the show is as follows:

"(The project) centers on an Iraq war vet who experiences a supernatural attack that leaves his wife in an unexplained coma. He embarks on a desperate quest to unravel the truth behind hauntings. Though a determined and acerbic loner, circumstances force him to work with a media-hungry, but not very successful team of ghost hunters. The team is led by a former university professor fired because of her research into mysterious phenomena, who is now determined to restore her reputation and academic career. Together, they chronicle dangerous, violent and truly terrifying occurrences."

So Fringe. It's Fringe

Probably with less LSD though.

So what do you think about this new Fox pilot? Does it stand a chance? Let me know! ~ Linnie
