Honey Buzz ~ Is Asa Butterfield Joining the New Tim Burton Film?

Based on his look and his filmography, you could be forgiven for assuming actor Asa Butterfield had already appeared in a Tim Burton film. Butterfield pretty much looks like he walked out of the Burtonator, designed explicitly FOR a Burton film. But now, it looks like Asa might officially be cast in the next Burton film! Or at least... considering it?

According to The Wrap, Tim Burton has been actively pursuing
Butterfield to star in his film adaptation of Ransom Riggs's Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. Butterfield would play Jacob Portman: a teenage boy who must protect a group of exceptional children with supernatural abilities from the monsters who hunt them. The young adult novel was interspersed throughout with unusual vintage photographs that Riggs had collected over the years, which appeared to show various examples of supernatural phenomena.

The sequel to Miss Peregrine, Hollow City, was published in January of this year.

Burton has already cast Eva Green as Miss Peregrine in his film. Ms. Green has previously starred in Casino Royale, 300: Rise of an Empire, and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, as well as Showtime's Penny Dreadful. Eva was also a finalist in the first annual Horror Honeys Femme Fatale Battle Royale!

Literally, the perfect Miss Peregrine...
