Honey Buzz: 'Goodnight Mommy' Scaring the Pants off Venice Viewers!

The Venice Film Festival isn't typically a breeding ground for buzz on upcoming horror films, but this year has been an exception! The first narrative feature film from directors Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala, Goodnight Mommy (Ich Seh Ich Seh) has already premiered to rave reviews and according to Variety film critic David Rooney, has "cult potential stamped all over it."

Goodnight Mommy tells the chilling tale of a set of twins who become convinced that their mother is an impostor after she returns home from plastic surgery covered in bandages. The Austrian film is already being compared to the works of Brian De Palma, David Cronenberg, and Michael Haneke, and when you watch the following clip, it isn't difficult to see why!
