The Horror Honeys: Stephen King Week Honey Jam - 'Pet Sematary'

Stephen King Week Honey Jam - 'Pet Sematary'

The smell of death is all around
And the night when the cold wind blows
No one cares, nobody knows
I don't want to be buried in a Pet Sematary
I don't want to live my life again

I think most people have heard The Ramones "Pet Sematary" and for that reason, I was going to avoid making it a Honey Jam this week. It was originally written for the film adaptation of King's novel and released on the Ramones 1989 album Brain Drain. While compiling a list of songs, I found this hauntingly beautiful cover by The Tiny. Several bands over the years have done many different versions of the song (Rammstein, Plain White T's) but "Pet Sematary" by The Tiny is definitely just as good, if not better than the original Ramones release.
